Thursday February 28, 2019, Occoquan, VA.  This year marks over one-half century since VFW Life Member Wayne Dearie joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  On this Thursday eve, and during the Post 7916 post BBQ, VFW Post 7916 presented Wayne with the VFW 50 year pin!  Wayne is the past commander of Post 7916 during 2009-11 and shown in the center of the picture above.
